Douglas Carlton Abrams
has been in publishing for over a decade, during which time he has served
as Senior Editor at HarperSanFrancisco, a division of HarperCollins, and
at the University of California Press. As an editor, he has published
many award-winning and popular books on subjects from personal growth
to political commentary. In addition, he served as Vice-President &
Editorial Director for JustGive.org, a leading philanthropy website. In
his life and work, he is interested in cultivating all aspects of our
humanity body, emotions, mind, and spirit. He writes most frequently
on sexuality, marriage, and parenting and is the author of a number of
best-selling books that have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
He lives with his wife, Rachel, a family physician, and their three children,
Jesse, Kayla, and Eliana, in Santa Cruz, California.

Cecelia A. Cancellaro
has eighteen years of publishing experience. She began her career as an
editor at Routledge Press and most recently was an editor at Schocken Books
in the Knopf Group at Random House. Her goal has always been to bring intellectually
and politically important work to a wide readership. She has published many
award-winning and paradigm-shifting books in a variety of areas close to
her heart, including feminism, history, race, and spirituality. She is the
author of a book about pregnancy and writes frequently on women's issues.
She lives with her husband, Eric, and their two daughters, Ruby and Lila,
in Maplewood, New Jersey. |
