Sunita Sah

Sunita Sah MD PhD is an award-winning professor and organizational psychologist at Cornell
University. A physician by training, her research draws insights from psychology, behavioral
economics and organizational behavior to study advisor-advisee relationships, conflicts of
interest, trust, influence and compliance.
Professor Sah has published dozens of articles in leading psychology, management, medicine,
law and economic journals as well as the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Scientific
American, and Harvard Business Review. Her work has also been featured by other major outlets
such as The New Yorker, BBC, and NPR.

Sah’s ground-breaking empirical research has uncovered novel findings that affect our reactions
to both good and bad advice, recommendations and orders.
