Esmé Schwall Weigand is Senior Collaborative Writer and Assistant Editor at Idea Architects. She holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona. Her fiction and personal essays have appeared in The Normal School and Apalachee Review, among other publications. The Choice, her first Idea Architects collaboration, won a 2017 National Jewish Book Award and a 2018 Christopher Award, and is an international bestseller. She lives with her husband and two young daughters in Portland, Oregon, where she enjoys playing her cello and racing her children up muddy mountainsides.
