Georgie Wisen-Vincent

Georgie Wisen-Vincent, LMFT, RPT-S, is a nationally recognized play therapy expert and Co-Founder of The Play Strong Institute. She is a graduate professor and active researcher in childhood play, attachment science, and mental health. She has been commissioned as a consultant, program designer, and lead trainer at several major organizations, including UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, Para Los Niños, Kidspace Children’s Museum, and ECHO Parenting.

Georgie earned her Masters of Arts in Marriage in Family Therapy from Chapman University before going on to complete a postgraduate specialization at the University of Roehampton, London, Masters of Arts in Child-Centered Play Therapy. She is an active member of both the American Association for Play Therapy and the British Association of Play Therapists. In addition to her private practice, Georgie has undertaken PhD research focused on unlocking deeper, more effective emotional patterns with our children through playful parenting.
