Rachel Neumann, previously the Associate Publisher at Shambhala Publications, is moving to join Idea Architects as Director of Strategic Initiatives, Executive Editor, and literary agent, effective December 1st, 2019.

During Neumann’s tenure at Shambhala Publications, she led the significant growth of their publishing program, diversified their author base, and acquired across all imprints, including children’s, lifestyle, wellness, and spirituality. Neumann was the editor for best-selling authors Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hanh and was previously the Publisher of Parallax Press.

Rachel will focus on bringing new authors to the agency as well as building Idea Architects collaborations with publishing and community partners.
She will be based in Berkeley and Santa Cruz, CA.
